My interest in Artificial Intelligence (Paraphrasing)

One of my greatest interests lately has been Computer Science (CS), especially the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). I appreciate trying to understand from the most basic steps how a computer works and I'm really excited in following the news about recent developments of AI. However, I do not know much about these topics yet. I'm trying to start to study this by myself and I'm even considering about switching my future major to CS. Last week, I had been in the Silicon Valley, where a cousin of my father lives. Both her and her husband are specialized in voice recognition by personal assistants, like in the Amazon's Alexa and the Apple's Siri. By hearing to their discussions and visiting places like Stanford University and Computer History Museum my interest in these subjects only increased.    
Nowadays, every single aspect of humankind is affected with the exponential development of CS and AI, tendency that probably will only increase in the future. According to Andrew Ng, one of the greatest researchers and promoters of AI in the world, AI will reshape the economic production as vastly and deeply as the the use of electricity did one century ago, improving the lives of billions of people (2017). Thus, it's surely a topic that anyone should at least have some notion about and it's a promising field of study, which a may choose to myself.

My dream job

My dream job is being a Brazilian diplomat. I really like this idea of getting to know profoundly different countries around the world and dealing directly with world affairs. Diplomacy and international affairs in general is an interdisciplinary subject that requires you to have, at least, good notions in Politics, Economics, Sociology, Geography and History, what gives someone a broad vision about the humanity. It demands that you keep yourself up-to-date in the most important and controversial topics of the global agenda and act directly about it. And you would be responsible to be a defensor of your nation interests, but would be as well a bridge to someone else's culture.    There is many influent diplomats around the world that I admire or, at least, recognizes its importance.
